The Hazard Communication Standard (HCS) (29 CFR 1910.1200(g)) requires chemical manufactures and distributors to provide access to Safety Data Sheets (SDS), formerly referred to as Material Safety Data Sheets or MSDS, for each hazardous chemical to downstream users which communicates information related to these hazards.
